The story behind ESSEC

The name ESSEC is a contraction of “EAGLE SHARK SECURITY”, reflecting the company's combination of strategic overview and sharp precision – symbolized by the eagle's sharp gaze and the shark's effective attack ability. The company is built on a philosophy shaped by experience from the Armed Forces, the Police and special operations forces, where the requirements for professionalism, discipline and efficiency are the highest priority.

What we stand for

ESSEC's DNA is created by dedicated employees, many of whom have a background in the Danish Armed Forces and experience from international missions. This gives us a unique understanding and ability to handle complex and demanding security tasks.

Security solution

ESSEC ApS has over the years built up extensive experience with tailor-made security solutions for a wide range of customers. Our focus on quality and precision has secured us a strong position in the industry and great respect for our approach to problem solving.

Our logo

The design

It is inspired by the legendary “Bravo Company”, one of the most prominent units in the American effort during World War II. It also draws on the symbolism of the “ace of spades”, known from the card game, and represents ESSEC as the decisive trump card – the solution of choice for tasks that require specialized knowledge and experience in securing people and property.

Site security and perimeter protection

The company has ongoing tasks to secure companies and institutions that are challenged by terrorist threats and that deliver critical infrastructure. At ESSEC, we have built a staff with a background from the military, who are equipped and trained to act correctly in acute situations, including understanding deviations from the normal picture and responding to incidents with overview, authority and high professional precision as well as action.

Event and festival security

For a number of years, ESSEC has delivered task solutions including risk analysis and advice at major events, meetings and conferences, review of physical layout, plan for arrival, stay and departure of the audience and participants (the DIMICE model), Drone and CCTV operators, RFI monitoring and advice, safety training and courses for volunteers and permanent staff, had responsibility for set-up and tear-down and provided top-notch security personnel.
